Police registration form

In Morocco, the “fiche de police” is the record of each hosted guest's identity, which the host then declares to the authorities under the procedure that applies to the property.

In Morocco, what everyone calls the “fiche de police” is the record of the identity of the guests you host. Under law 80-14, it is the individual accommodation form: each guest shows an ID and signs a form on arrival, and the operator declares their details online the same day.

Who has to fill it in?

For an authorized riad, guesthouse or homestay, the obligation is written down (articles 36 to 38 of law 80-14). For a whole apartment rented out by a private individual, the text is unclear, but some local authorities already require it, as in Marrakech in early 2025. The cautious approach: collect identities in every case and ask the local authority for its procedure.

  • one form per person, companions included;
  • the identity as written on the ID, checked against the original on arrival;
  • an archive kept for at least one year.

Our free police form generator prepares a bilingual French-Arabic form, ready for your declaration; nothing is sent. Declaring remains your own step, as our guide to the police form in Morocco explains.
