Short-term rentals in Marrakech, without chasing every arrival.
A riad in the medina, an apartment in Gueliz or a villa in the Palmeraie: with 10.1 million nights in classified hotels in 2024, Marrakech has demand almost all year round. What wears you down is keeping calendars up to date, guests looking for the door and teams to coordinate. RentDari takes care of it.
What Marrakech asks of a host, and how RentDari answers.
The situations we see with almost every host and concierge business in the city.
The taxi stops at the medina gates, and your guests call you, lost in the derbs.
The same night sells on Airbnb and on Booking.com, and the second booking lands while you sleep.
Passports are copied by hand at check-in, often late at night, while checks on furnished apartments have tightened since January 2025.
Cleaning, linen and breakfast are arranged through voice notes with the team.
Spring, autumn and the year-end holidays fill up fast; January and November are quieter, except around the Marathon or the Film Festival.
The welcome book sends the route, a photo of the door and the number to call before arrival.
Calendars are synced: a booking taken on one channel blocks the same dates everywhere else.
Online check-in collects ID, contact details, fellow guests and stay dates before arrival: everything is ready for the police registration form (fiche de police).
Each job becomes a task linked to the stay, assigned and ticked off from a phone.
Your rates are set by period, event dates included, and the calendar shows the nights still open at a glance.
Before, during and after high season.
Rates by period, minimum stays for the year-end holidays and event dates, connected channels: everything is set before the first requests.
Online check-in, welcome book sent, cleaning scheduled between stays: the team sees today’s tasks on their phone.
Revenue by property and by month, statements for each owner, reviews in one place: you know what the season brought in.
The modules Marrakech hosts open the most.
All thirteen modules are included in every plan. These are the ones that matter most here.
Airbnb, Booking.com and Expedia synced both ways, property by property or room by room.
The route through the medina, a photo of the door, the WiFi and your favourite spots, in one link.
Contract signed online, IDs and fellow guests collected before arrival.
Cleaning, linen and breakfasts assigned to the team and ticked off from a phone.
Prices by period to follow the season and event dates, without re-entering every night on every channel.
Each owner follows their properties, bookings and statements without calling you.
Questions from Marrakech hosts
Riads, guest IDs, tourist tax and the big events.
Write to us from the contact page — an answer within 24 business hours, in English, French, Arabic or Spanish.
Can I manage a riad room by room?
Yes. Each room has its own calendar, rate and capacity, and each one syncs with your channels separately. The riad keeps an overall view.
In Marrakech, what happens to the IDs of guests in a furnished apartment?
According to local press reports, since January 2025 a commission led by the wilaya has required owners of furnished apartments to have occupants fill in a form, log arrivals and departures like a hotel, and pass the data on to the security services or the territorial administration. RentDari collects each guest’s ID, contact details and dates before arrival; passing the data on is up to you. Our guide to the fiche de police, on the blog, sets out the rules.
How much tourist tax for a riad in Marrakech?
For accommodation covered by law 80-14, law 47-06 sets a range per person per night: 10 to 25 MAD for riads and houses rented to tourists, 15 to 30 MAD for guesthouses (maisons d’hôtes), with children under 12 exempt. The exact rate is set by the municipality. Airbnb does not collect it in Morocco; RentDari keeps the nights and the number of guests for every booking. Our guide to the tourist tax, on the blog, walks through the calculation.
I run a concierge business: can my owners follow their properties?
Yes. The owner portal shows each owner their properties, bookings and statements, and nothing else. Just starting out? Our guide to starting an Airbnb concierge business in Marrakech, on the blog, covers the steps.
How do I prepare for Marrakech’s big events?
Marrakech hosted AFCON 2025 matches, from 21 December 2025 to 18 January 2026, and is among the announced host cities for the 2030 World Cup. The International Marathon (25 January in 2026) and the International Film Festival (28 November to 6 December in 2025) fall in quieter months. Set a rate and a minimum stay on those dates: they go out to all your connected channels.
