Can my guests arrive without me being there?

Self check-in: how do I handle guest IDs?
Nobody checks passports at the door, so online check-in asks each guest for their ID and contact details before arrival. For accommodation covered by law 80-14, guests are declared electronically on the day they arrive, and each signed police registration form (fiche de police) is kept for a year. Does the tourist tax apply to an apartment in Casablanca?
It applies to the establishments and forms of accommodation covered by law 80-14, per person per night, with children under 12 exempt. Law 47-06 sets a range for each category, for example 3 to 7 MAD for a tourist residence and 2 to 5 MAD for other forms of accommodation; the exact rate is set by the municipality.
