My guests arrive on Friday evening: how do I get their IDs in time?
Send the check-in link as soon as the booking comes in, by hand or in a scheduled message: each guest enters their ID and contact details before hitting the road. For accommodation covered by law 80-14, guests are declared on the day of arrival and the signed police registration form (fiche de police) is kept for a year; RentDari prepares the information, but the declaration is up to you. In 2026, from 25 to 27 June. Set a rate and a minimum stay for those nights: they go out to Airbnb, Booking.com and Expedia, and the Sunday cleanings can be scheduled in advance.
What tourist tax applies to a riad or house in Essaouira?
For accommodation covered by law 80-14, law 47-06 provides for 10 to 25 MAD per person per night for riads and houses rented to tourists, and 15 to 30 MAD for guesthouses; children under 12 are exempt and the exact rate is set by the municipality.
